Reflection Gives Your A New Perspective

                     Evolve Training and Development

Anytime you have the opportunity to reflect on your life experiences, where you’ve been, people you’ve met along the way, and how this has shaped you into the person you are today. This self-reflection allows for personal growth and development, and it also allows what’s buried in your subconscious, to come to the surface.  The subconscious is where we house our emotions which controls behavior and one's self -image.

Think back to when you were the tender age of eight.  What dreams did you have? What did you want to become?  Now fast forward about thirty years.  Have your dreams and ideas changed or has opportunity somehow eluded you? How has your dreams and ideas affected your worldview and has it impacted your sense of reality?

Often we realize that what we thought we wanted or dreamed of having, is no longer what we need.  Or life happens, and we perceive that those same  goals are now unattainable.  Take a moment to reflect.  Are you where you really want to be?  Do you cringe at the thought of waking up each morning, only to spend countless hours at a job that doesn’t speak to your creativity, nor does it bring you joy?  Well that’s not what that job was meant to do or be! Ask yourself.  Am I actively pursuing and achieving my goals? Am I engaging in healthy relationships?  Am I living out loud and with purpose?   Push pause...

Take a look.  Have you noticed how time has a way of moving, even when you’re not looking, or paying attention to your wasted hours?  Your life is yours to live and what you do with it, is entirely up to you.  You were created to do something bigger than what your mind can conceive and far beyond your understanding.  When success happens, people are amazed but that’s only because they stop looking beyond what the eye can see.  It’s only in those daily reflections, small pockets of happiness and tiny glimpses of what could be, that we continue to look deeper and dream bigger; just like that eight-year-old.  She’s still in there, he’s still in there just open your eyes to the possibility.

So let’s begin…

Reflect on the past and present.

Redirect your focus on improving your future.

React.  Do something that promotes the change you want to see now. Take massive action

Reflection gives you a whole new perspective!

Be Amazing
